At the Royal Rumble on January 27, 2024, Punk suffered a significant setback – a torn right triceps. This injury has compelled him to miss the upcoming WrestleMania XL. Initial reports of the injury came from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, later confirmed that Punk had indeed sustained a torn triceps during the Royal Rumble match.
