Keanu Charles Reeves was born on September 2, 1964, in Beirut, Lebanon. His mother, Patricia Taylor, is a costume designer and performer from Essex, England. His father, Samuel Nowlin Reeves Jr., is of Native Hawaiian, Chinese, English, Irish, and Portuguese descent, hailing from Hawaii. Unfortunately, his father abandoned the family when Reeves was just three years old.
