Celebrity Hosts and Guest List of Met Gala 2024

This year’s Met Gala was co-chaired by Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, and Anna Wintour. Loewe’s creative director, Jonathan Anderson, and TikTok’s CEO, Shou Zi Chew, will serve as honorary chairs of the event.

The guest list, handpicked by Vogue editor Anna Wintour herself, which include, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Alia Bhatt, Nicki Minaj, Dua Lipa, Lily Gladstone, Cardi B, Usher and more.

Absentees

Despite the high-profile guest list, there were some notable absences. Regular Gala-goers like Rihanna and Blake Lively skipped out on the event. Rihanna reportedly fell ill with the flu, while Lively seemingly decided to spend the night in with her family.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce also didn’t show up to the exclusive event. Swift was reportedly locked into rehearsals as she prepares to continue her iconic Eras Tour in Europe.
