California: Samsung, the tech giant hailing from South Korea, recently revealed its latest array of AI-infused Galaxy S24 Series at the Galaxy Unpacked Event. The event, hosted at California’s SAP Center, was globally streamed through Samsung’s official website. The focal point of the event was the much-anticipated Galaxy S24 series, encompassing the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra.

AI Fueling Innovation
Samsung strategically incorporated Google’s Gen AI technology into the upcoming S24 series, presenting a pivotal move to outpace its Cupertino rival. The integration of GenAI is set to empower users to respond to messages efficiently and digest information effortlessly. Samsung confirmed the launch of the AI Live Translate feature, offering real-time voice and text translations during phone calls. The event spotlighted various AI features, including Samsung’s Gauss model.
Unveiling the Galaxy S24 Series
The Galaxy S24 series introduces three smartphones: Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and the premium Galaxy S24 Ultra. The S24 Ultra boasts the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset for Galaxy, positioned to rival Apple’s A17 chipset. The camera system on the S24 Ultra is notably impressive.
Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ come with 256GB and 512GB storage options, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra adds a 1TB model. Pre-orders for the Galaxy S24 series in India are available through Samsung’s official website and leading online and offline retail stores.
A Closer Look at Galaxy S24 Features
- Galaxy S24 Ultra: Boasting a 6.8″ QHD+ 120Hz screen, powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Rear camera setup includes a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera. Front camera is a 12MP sensor. Supports UHD 8K video recording at 30fps.
- Galaxy S24 and S24+: Feature a 6.2″ FullHD+ 120Hz screen and a 6.7″ QHD+ 120Hz screen respectively. Both devices are powered by the Exynos 2400 SoC and feature a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera. Front camera is a 12MP sensor.
All S24 devices support 5G connectivity, feature USB Type-C interface, and house various sensors, including accelerometer, barometer, fingerprint sensor, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, hall sensor, light sensor, and proximity sensor.
